Ever leave a review after you’ve bought a product online? Maybe visited a cute coffee shop down the street that you HAD to tell all your local coffee drinking friends all about it?
How many times do you read reviews when contemplating buying a night cream or mascara online?
Let’s face it, consumers love a good review. In fact, 92% of consumers now read online reviews 84% trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.
Over half of young people aged 18 to 34 say they trust online reviews more than the opinions of friends and family 68% of consumers form an opinion by reading at least four reviews. I’m going to share with you how to collect and use reviews to boost enrolments in your childcare business.
Collecting Reviews
There are a few areas in your childcare business that can easily be set up and automated to receive reviews.
- The first is on your website. You can easily add a page encouraging clients as well as past clients to leave you a review directly on your site. This way future clients can easily read through them.
- Create a profile on YELP. and Google My Business. Please make sure you complete your business’s profile information.
- Encourage current and past customers to leave you a review on your FB business page.
- Have your clients take a survey once a year. You can use Google Forms to create a simple questionnaire asking them for feedback on your services.
- Inside your FB community, have a separate tab for reviews and encourage parents to leave a review before their child graduate
Leveraging reviews
- You can leverage all the reviews you’ve received on your website by showcasing them on your homepage.
- You can use testimonials and reviews in your marketing material such as your flyer or FB ads.
- You can pin up your reviews on a bulletin board in your center, somewhere visible when giving tours.
- You can give a shout-out weekly and share reviews on your social media as well as your IG highlights.
As a business owner, you MUST have an attitude of servitude. Focus on offering quality and watch all the 5-star reviews come pouring in!
